Report a breach

Anyone — a client, a member of the public, a fellow professional, a student — may report that a person on the Register is practising or advising contrary to The BHARCS Code, or misusing the badge or the BHARCS name.

How reports work

Before you report

Evidence is required. A screenshot, a link, a photograph, written advice given, or similar. A report without evidence may not be investigated.
Reports are handled under the Malpractice Policy and Process. The possible outcomes are no action, a written reminder of the pledge, or withdrawal from the Register, which is shown publicly.
We may write to you if we need more, and you may appeal the outcome under the Appeals Policy and Process. Your details are not shared with the person reported without your agreement.
