BHARCSBHARCS Applied Canine Biosociopsychology & Ethology Certification Course — a practitioner certification for those who want to work professionally with dogs using the BHARCS Way.
The course is built around practical observation, reflexive learning, ethical engagement, and real-world consultation skills. It is for those ready to move past behaviour modification — and it explicitly rejects control, obedience, and behavioural suppression in favour of observation, wellbeing, communication, physiology, relationships, ethical practice, and reflexive learning.

Prerequisite: completion of Canine Essential 101 (CE101) is mandatory.
What you study
- Canine Biosociopsychology — stress physiology, chronic stress, emotional regulation, behavioural distress indicators, health-related changes, and environmental stressors.
- Canine Communication & Zoosemiotics — signal interpretation, behavioural and vocal recognition, relational communication, dog-to-dog interaction, and communication breakdowns, through video analysis and reflexive logging.
- Consent, Agency & Ethical Interaction — seeking consent, recognising discomfort, intentional body language, pressure reduction, and supporting agency, through repeated practice.
- Consultation & Client Work — consultation preparation, observation analysis, stressor identification, interviews, record-keeping, ethical recommendations, and scope awareness.
- Observation & Qualitative Documentation — structured record-keeping, longitudinal behaviour analysis, mini home-studies, pattern tracking, and identifying environmental contributors.
How you learn
Self-paced, tutor-guided, online-enabled, and heavily practical. Students progress through lectures, exercises, tutor-reviewed submissions, case studies, guided reflection, observational assignments, and consultation simulations. Assessment is continuous, spanning theoretical understanding and applied capability.
What you earn
On successful completion: the BHARCS Professional Certification, the BHARCS Professional Badge, digital professional assets, and the right to identify as a BHARCS Certified Practitioner.
Commitment & fees
- ~500 hours of learning and practice
- 7–14 hours per week, typically
- Up to 30 months to complete, self-paced
- $100 / ₹8,500 per month (subject to annual adjustment)
- Each cohort is capped to protect the quality of tutoring

- Make a second submission incorporating that feedback.
